Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Clappy (“we”, “us”), operated by Namua Consulting, handles personal information collected through this website. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at contact@namua.ai.

What we collect

Information you give us:

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist (the “Download” pop-up or the footer sign-up form).
• Your name, email address and message, when you use the contact form.

Privacy-friendly, anonymous usage statistics: we measure how many people visit the site so we can gauge interest. This is done without cookies and without any third-party analytics service. Specifically:

• We count page views, the page visited, the domain of the site you came from (never the full address), and how many people click “Download”.
• To count unique visitors without identifying anyone, we generate a one-way, anonymous daily code from your IP address and browser type. The secret used to create it is regenerated every day and never stored, so the code cannot be traced back to you or linked from one day to the next. We do not store your IP address.
• We honour “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals — if your browser sends one, we don’t count the visit.

Why we use your information

• To notify you when Clappy is available, and to send occasional product updates — only if you gave us your email.
• To reply to messages you send through the contact form.
• To measure interest in the product through anonymous statistics.

Our legal basis for using your email is your consent, which you give by submitting the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Your choices” below).

Emails we send

If you join the waitlist, we’ll email you about Clappy — nothing else. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time. We will not sell your address or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with service providers that help us run the site and are bound to protect it — for example our hosting provider, HOSTERFY (6 Rue d’Entraigues, 37000 Tours, France · +33 9 72 51 19 35). We may disclose information if required by law.

How long we keep it

• Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
• Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your request, then deleted.
• Usage statistics: kept in aggregate; they contain no information that identifies you.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct it if it’s wrong;
• Delete it;
• Unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

To exercise any of these, just email contact@namua.ai and we’ll take care of it. Depending on where you live (for example the UK, Canada, Australia, or California), you may have additional rights under your local privacy laws; we’ll honour those too.

Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information. Data is stored on secured servers, and access is limited to what’s necessary to operate the site.

Children

This site is not directed to children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

International visitors

We operate from France. If you visit from another country, your information will be processed where we and our service providers operate. By using the site, you understand your information may be transferred and processed there.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
